Written by Zanning (919―1002), a Chinese Song Dynasty monk, the Song Dynasty Biographies of Eminent Monks contains biographies of 533 great monks from the Tang Dynasty to the Five Dynasties period.
Fascicle 14, titled “Biography of Jinpyo at Geumsansa Temple in Baekje (百濟國金山寺眞表傳),” records the life of Vinaya Master Jinpyo.
