Tangible Cultural Property of Jeonbuk Special Autonomous Province
This is a wooden seated buddha statue that was enshrined in the Great Hero Hall (Daeungjeon) of Buljusa Temple.
The square face, body, and knees properly positioned, exhibit balanced proportions.
The face is refined, with a long, broad forehead, a large, prominent nose, and a distinct urna curl between the eyebrows.
The garment is double-layered, and the folds create a sense of rhythm.
The hands are placed on the knees and form the teaching mudra of Amitabha Buddha, a characteristic that emerged in the late 17th century.

这是曾供奉在佛住寺大雄宝殿的木雕如来坐像。
方形的脸部和身体，宽大的膝盖呈现出稳定的身体比例。
相好端庄，额头横长，鼻子大而挺拔，白毫分明。
衣服叠穿了大衣，从衣服的褶皱中可以感受到律动感。
双手放在膝盖上，结阿弥陀说法印，这是从17世纪后半期开始出现的特征。

仏住寺の大雄殿に安置されていた木造如来坐像である。
方形の顔と体に、膝も広くて安定した身体比例を示している。
顔立ちは端正で、おでこは横に長く、鼻は大きくて高く、白毫がはっきりと表現されている。衣装は大衣を重ね着しており、衣のひだからリズム感が感じられる。
手印は両手を膝の上に置き、阿弥陀説法印を結んでいる。この手印は17世紀後半以降に見られる特徴でもある。
