This is a wooden seated Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva statue that was enshrined in the Gwaneumjeon Hall of Buljusa Temple. On the head, the Bodhisattva wears an ornate crown in the shape of “山 (mountain)” and a high topknot of voluminous hair.
The nearly square face is round and balanced, with narrow eyes, a prominent nose, and tightly closed lips.
The garment is double-layered, covering both shoulders, and the hands form the teaching mudra of Amitabha Buddha.
Offerings enshrined within the statue include a statement of vows, and an alms-givers’ list. The statement of vows reveals the date of its creation, making it a valuable source of information for chronological records of buddha statues from the late Joseon Dynasty.

是曾经供奉在佛住寺观音殿的木雕观音菩萨坐像。头上戴着华丽“山”形宝冠，宝发高耸。
接近四角形的面部圆满，细眼、高挺的鼻梁、紧闭的嘴角等表现得均衡。
包裹着双肩的衣服上的褶皱从双臂流下来，盖住双膝，手结阿弥陀说法印。
佛像腹部里发现了造佛像发愿文以及施主名单等。根据发愿文可知造像年代是朝鲜后期，是宝贵的资料。

仏住寺の観音殿に安置されていた木造観音菩薩坐像である。頭には華やかな「山」の形の宝冠をかぶり、髪は高く結い上げられている。
四角に近い顔立ちは円満であり、細い目、すっとした鼻、固く閉じた口などがバランスよく表現されている。両肩を覆う衣は、袖のひだが腕から流れるように垂れ、両膝を優しく覆っている。手の印相は阿弥陀説法印を結んでいる。
腹藏では仏像の発願文や施主記などが発見された。発願文により仏像の造成年代が分かれ、朝鮮後期の仏像の編年作として貴重な資料である。
