The Arhats of Seogosa Temple were stolen around July 2004 and recovered in 2014. After the theft, they were cleverly repainted to look like different arhat statues. These Arhats are the third and 16th of Seogosa Temple’s Sixteen Arhat statues.
The statements of vows, discovered with the statues, reveal that funds were donated by Mun Man-yeong (from Heungdeok-myeon, Gochang-gun, Jeollabuk-do), and the statues were created by the head monk-painter, Seongsim, on May 23, 1695, the 21st year of King Sukjong’s reign.
They were originally enshrined at Baengnyeonsa Temple in Seonun-ri, Buan-myeon, Gochang-gun, Jeollabuk-do. Both Arhat statues are seated on stone pedestals in a natural pose, and their proportions are natural.

全罗北道特别自治道有形文化遗产
西固寺罗汉像于2004年7月左右被盗，在2014年找回。偷窃罗汉像后重新上色，巧妙地令人看起来像另一尊罗汉像。这些罗汉像是西固寺十六罗汉像中的第三、第十六尊者。
根据和罗汉像一起发现的发愿文可知，是肃宗21年（1695年）5月23日由居住在全罗北道高敞郡兴德面的文ManYoung布施，首画僧性沈制作。
这些罗汉像本来供奉在全北特别自治道高敞郡富安面仙云里白莲寺。两尊罗汉像都坐在岩石台座上，摆出自然的姿势，比例也很稳定。

全北特別自治道 有形文化遺産
西固寺の羅漢像は、2004年7月頃に盗難に遭ったが、2014年に取り戻された。盗まれた後、巧妙に別の羅漢像に見せかけるため再彩色が施されていた。この羅漢像は、西固寺の十六羅漢像のうち、第3尊者と第16尊者である。ともに発見された発願文により、肅宗21年（1695年）5月23日、全北特別自治道・高敞郡興徳面に住む文萬永が寄進し、首画僧の性沈によって制作されたことが明らかになった。
もともとは、全北特別自治道・高敞郡扶安面仙雲里の白蓮寺に安置されていたものである。２躯の羅漢像はいずれも岩の台座に自然な姿勢で座しており、比例も安定している。
